Sort of revival of the lettering that Jurriaan Schrofer designed back in 1957 for Dutch timber trader called "houthandel Rote".
The original sketch by Schrofer featured the text "standaard profielen" in all lowercase letters (I will post a image bellow)
Now, as far as I know this was all the characters Jurriaan designed for this project. The designs parameters in Jurriaans sketch doesn't allow a lot of freedom and remains unclear on how a character with crossing strokes like k or x wouldve been done. So its kind of a tricky one to extend easily, therefor I just captured its basic letterforms for now.
A font made to be very economical.
This design uses as few unique shapes as possible. In addition to extensive rotations and flips (see AR, EMW, FL, GJUV, IHKT, NSZ25), glyphs are made so that they can be cut down to make other glyphs in as few cuts as possible (see BEI, used to make ACDFLMNOPRSWYZ1235689). Some other glyphs (see QX.,) then make use of the cut parts.
This means that, were these letters to be physically made, the maker would only need a few forms to start with and could cut the rest in only a few steps.
The name was chosen because of both a running joke between friends and because it was the coolest-looking phrase I tried when I auditioned the font.
By request, "a font that looks like a hybrid of Greek and Latin".
This is designed to be modular. UPPER CASE contains the standard glyphs. Alternates are on the lowercase as well as the More Latin band.
"Novus Graecorum" means "The New Greek".
Supports Dutch, English, and Greek!
Modern modular geometric minuscule script style sans-serif typeface.
Typeface design based on a typographic poster that is celebrating Wim Crouwel, and was designed by Matthew Lew.
A typeface design that was inspired by a poster designed by chuck Sperry for Kraftwerk, at the Paradiso, Amsterdam back in January 2015.
I don't know if this already is a existing font, but I don't really care.
The letters on the poster simply kept begging me for a digital recap.
A font made with a small number of blocks - 16. Although it could be as little as 6 if I used lots of nudging and modifiers.
A small rounded stencil type inspired by Bauhaus artist "Josef Albers"
This is a optimized re-entry of my very first fontstruct entry. Which was in loving memory of "Jurriaan Schrofer". it was a attempt to re-create a alphabet from late great dutch graphic designer "Jurriaan Schrofer". Unfortunatly the first entry that I published had some imperfections that I have removed in this version.
I updated and improved my already previously published third recap in the series to attempt to re-create some of the works from late great dutch graphic designer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
As extra I added a period plus comma.
I hope you like it.
RIBBON is a font designed to emphasize the little details in life that make things better. Originally just a doodle, the typeface evolved through many different styles and looks, before finally settling on the “folded” look, using sharp corners on letters and folds, the way a letterform would look if one really wanted to make it out of ribbons! I hope you enjoy the font and put it to good use on special occasions!
Here is a font to implement a simple ASCII Art drawing package.
Inspired heavily by dm Solidus (and several other fonts by demonics), and also by Modular Blackout Bold Condensed (now private, but you can see a sample here). More/less rounded alternates can be found in Latin Extended A. As always, suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks and enjoy!
(2017: This was another one that barely needed to be touched--the only edit I made was thinning the outer ring of the @ symbol from a full brick to half a brick wide. I'm getting toward the end of my collection of private but completely finished fonts though...)
Indyga, a fresh new font from designer Lyle M.

Cell 13 is a display typeface created for the purpose of my typography project. It features the uppercase alphabet, numerals, and some punctuation.
This font was made for my personal use for a game project. It is a classic interpretation of retro pixel font. All basic latin letters and polish diacritics.
