A 2x2 design which started with a "split" aesthetic and ended up with a "stenciled" one. I embraced the change and now all these glyphs are functional as stencils. They contain minimal stacking and no composites.
In some cases the inside is connected to the outside at only one point. If you decide to use this for stencilling, I recommend using a stout material for the stencil and storing it with care.
The name comes from one of the many, many old joke bands which I created.
Recommended: Use with kerning turned on!
Squareish, slightly futuristic 2x2 design. It's made to fit in with industrial, sci-fi, and Soviet-style aesthetics. It's also far more internally consistent than my other 2x2 designs!
Because this uses so much nudging, diacritics will be impossible unless I composite many of the existing glyphs or place the diacritics really high... I'll think about it...
Stemless superminimal 2x2. It's small yet bold, much like Napoleon!
An experimental logotype and another attempt to create a distinctive design in 2x2. Some words look better than others... it's best for 1-2 word phrases rather than body text.
"B", "P", and "R" are compromise designs... no satisfactory way exists to create their curves while maintaining the optimal line width, so their counters were filled a bit to give them the same sense of solidity as the other letters.
A "denghon" is a giant, many-limbed, extradimensional creature found throughout my games, especially ESOS.
This is another clone of Monkey (my monospace lanky font); it should be very similar to the original except for the lower x-height and the added accented characters (More Latin/Latin-1, Latin Extended A, Latin Extended B, and now Even More Latin/Latin Extended Additional). It is 16 blocks tall and 6 blocks wide; all letters without diacritics are at most 9 above the baseline and at most 3 below, but the accents push the height of a letter up by 3 blocks (or rarely 4), and the box drawing characters extend even higher, to 16 blocks from descender to the highest point. This font uses the FontStruct 2x2 filter method with plenty of composite and stacked bricks, which lets the curves look good at large sizes while remaining sharp on the screen at normal sizes. Mandrill will look strange in the FontStruct preview if you zoom in or out, but if you download it, it will look sharp at size 16 or 12 (depending on the program).This is a clone of Monkey
Brick Basket in a format that's more useable for graphic artists. While the original was made for building new font designs, this one is made to be useful as a font in its own right.
I will update this one, along with the original, any time I have new ideas. Both designs have bricks that are unique to them, as well. This is due to glitches I encountered while cloning as well as the fact that BBRev2's designs are specifically for graphic art. BBRev2 also contains a few stock FS bricks just to expand the range of textures it can create.This is a clone of Brick Basket
