This design was inspired by bubble letters and block letters.
Combining round edges to sharp edges creates a satisfying bubble block typeface. The highlight in the type create the illusion of a more rounded typeface.
This is the upgraded version of my previously published NOBUNTU font. This version includes much more characters and symbols and many ligatures, as well as language support for most Latin languages.
It is a medium weight contemporary geometric gothic humanist sans-serif style design with rounded corners and smooth curves. All curves have a slight top & bottom overshoot. The basic Latin string, numerals and punctuation are fully kerned as well as the majority of important characters in the extended Latin string. But some still need a slight adjustment. (this will be happening in the following days.
The basic idea was inspired by the gentle round corners seen in the Ubuntu and other similar fonts. (But don't make any mistakes, it is most definetly a different font) ;)
So far I am very pleased with the clean and legible result.
Enjoy!
This is a cloneExtrapolation of the lettering found on a Dutch renovation brochure. I have no clue if it is a existing font or not. I only used the letters from the brochure as guide and did zero research on it's origin.
Enjoy nonetheless!
Argh, this was horrible to make .. well, getting it slightly balanced was a nightmare. The missing segments of the glyphs constantly caused my brain to correct what I was looking at by means of general logic and my knowledge about the way in which letter spacing usually works. This effect was worst with the letters T, U, Y. And I am convinced that it still contains the necessary disproportionate irregularities with regard to the metrics. I tried kerning it as best as I could. It has only uppercase letters, no numerals and very limited punctuations. I am not sure if I will ever complete this.
enjoy!
This is a cloneAt first I started to struct the lettering seen on the book cover of:
"Tot elkaar veroordeeld 'De Nederlands-Duitse economische betrekking' (tussen 1945-1957)"by Martijn Lak.
But doing a little more research it turned out to be the 1988 geometric typeface "Senator" originally designed by Zuzana Licko.
I took the liberty of making sort of a replica.
I made a couple of small changes here and there trying to improve its overall look.
Incised version for the LOOP typeface family with rounded corners.
This is a clone of STF_LOOP (ROUNDED)A clone of a previous fontstruction I did, which was a recap of one of the alphabets originally desiged by Jurriaan Schrofer.
- For this update I decided to extend the latin table.
(the project remains under fontstruction, and I'll try to make it as complete as possible over time)
Also I'm gonna keep it open license so it remains cloneable!!
Feel free to use and abuse
For now enjoy!
Cheers
This is a clone of STF_SANS ROUNDEDSort of a semi recap of the lettering found on the second issue of Polish avant garde architectural magazine called "PRAESENS".
It got published throughout the first part of the previous century and was similar to other magz from that era such as: DeStijl, Wendingen & Het Overzicht.
It's not super accurate but still a fairly recognizable and cool looking type. I already made a pro version of this lettering in the past with FontLab Studio, which closely capturing the exact original design.
