Sort of a revival of the geometric letters seen on a 1916 Dutch litho to paper poster for Wm H. Müller & Co.'s Batavier-lijn passenger service Rotterdam-London. The Batavier Line was the oldest steam shipping line in the Netherlands. The line existed from 1830-1960.
The litho design was originally done by Bart van der Leck (1876 - 1958).
The fontstruction is a Faux Bezier approach, so the design grid was huge. Making it a lot of work and hard to ballance with the editors kerning feature.
I made a couple of small changes as compared to the original, most significant is the upscaled Ampersand.
I completed the alphabet plus numerals and some punctuations.
There are still a small number of spacing issues that needs to be solved.

This time I revisited the lettering for "BREDERO BOUW BEDRIJF" and completed the entire alphabet and some additional punctuations.

Another recap in the ever growing series of attempts to re-create some of the works from late great dutch graphic designer "Jurriaan Schrofer"(15 april 1926 – 1 juli 1990).
This time I revisited the letters taken from one of his sketches called "Alphabet for cutout letters-c. 1985" and completed it with numerals and some additional punctuations!
The only real differences compared to the original sketch are heavier stroke weight and some letter parts/shapes that were drawn in the original were left out from the recap since they are of no use in a typeface!
As usual I completed the alphabet with numerals and some additional punctuations.

It's a attempt to struct the (I think) pretty well known typeface
"Cyber Monkey"
by none other than Fontspring founder & Fonthead Design Inc.'s:
- Ethan Dunham.
The original typeface by Ethan has been around quite some time and has been used a lot over the years in various of my design projects.
The original Cyber Monkey digital typeface by Dunham was commercially published back in 1998 by Fonthead Design and can still be purchased online via multiple font shops.
My fontstruction, despite its notable clear resemblances is by no means meant to commercially violate or abuse the original intellectual property of Dunham.

Actually it came into existance when I was fooling around in the editor and was building some ideas on chord-like letters. (And since I dont know a lot of typefaces in this style) I soon realized that through most of the time I kept on structing letters that I could sort of remember from Ethan's typeface. so I tried working from that point out to guide, but absolutely did not lead anywhere. lol
So I decided to quit the whole idea and turned the project into a fontstruction that heavily copied Ethan's Cyber Monker typeface to begin with!
It's not a real recap or accurate copy of the original, but does show striking similarities.

Inspired by the lettering found on a vintage sheet music cover art for "La Java bousculée" released in 1924. Cover illustration and letters are designed by "Robert Laroche".
I attempted to complete the alphabet and numeral plus some punctuations!

So, rather than a replica of the original, this is a 2018 view of the classic letters. It still follows the global contour of the original letters but instead of being stenciled it features solid glyphs.

In loving memory of the great Dutch graphical designer Frederika Sophia (Fré) Cohen(August 11, 1903 – June 14, 1943).
A tribute to Belgian modernist artist "Jozef Peeters" (Antwerp, 1895 - 1960).
He is probably best known for contributions to legendary Belgian avant garde magazines "Het Overzicht" and "DeDriekhoek".
The alphabet I made is based on the letters seen on the folder art for his 1921 linocut portofolio.
(I made use of a couple of lower case letters to make slight variations similar as seen on the original artwork but most lower case are simply copied from the upper case letters.)
Sort of a semi recap of the lettering found on the second issue of Polish avant garde architectural magazine called "PRAESENS".
It got published throughout the first part of the previous century and was similar to other magz from that era such as: DeStijl, Wendingen & Het Overzicht.
It's not super accurate but still a fairly recognizable and cool looking type. I already made a pro version of this lettering in the past with FontLab Studio, which closely capturing the exact original design.
This is a cloneRecap of a retro computer type lettering that appeared throughout the 70's and 80's as the word "data" on various brochures, envelopes and memo's by Dutch multinational human resource consulting firm Randstad. Most of which I guess were designed by Ben Bos.
A display typeface that revisits the classic Randstad alphabet originally designed by Ben Bos in 1969 working at Total Design. Some changes have been made to a number of characters and letter spacing in order to improve the overal ballance and legibility. In other words, more a semi-recap rahter than a exact replica.

This is a clone of STF_SANS_SEVERE_TYPEFACE-MULTILINESA letter decorated with a tilting dot pattern.
It's inspired by lettering seen on a brochure for Dutch theatre group "Sater" which was designed by "Jurriaan Schrofer".
I couldn't get it much more accurate that this, neither do I think it was wise desicion to make the main design isometric. Since now I'm tied to this projection. I might do a straight aligned version in the future.
Anyway, I think it is still a cool looking type
