Inverted marquee made for a friend. A lot of conversations we had informed this design, but those are best kept between us. Suffice to say that the friend in question wanted this font to embody certain principles of his avant-Daoist beliefs, and he is satisfied that the current form of this font accomplishes the goal.
A slightly quirky font made to be good for chat and marquee display. The global matrix is 8 pixels tall. This works well for IRC clients, MUD clients, and so on. Supports Dutch, English, and Greek!

I'm having agrate time here! I can hardly cage my excitement.
This effect font can achieve many looks - riveted plating, segmented displays, spectrograms, grills, cages, formations of vehicles seen from high altitude, jails, and more!
A 5x5 design expanded to 11x11. This gives it a cinematic marquee look.
Font used for signs in the 11th Heaven BBQ Bar'n'Grill Casino in my game Trap Farmer Brer Brah.

8x8 pixel art generator. It can be used to draw at any size once you understand how it works. Feel free to write your own scripts/code to automatically draw with this!
Glyphs are mapped to pixels as follows:
ABCDEFGH will make a horizontal line at the bottom edge, HPXfnv3. would make a vertical line on the right edge, and so on.
- INSTRUCTIONS -
Type to draw! See the sample for an example of how I do it.
1 space = 1px of spacing. Use 8 spaces to start a new block and 16 spaces to start a second block which is 8px away from the first. This fine space exists to allow any sort of pixel art to be drawn within an infinitely large "canvas".

If you draw something with this font, feel free to show it off in a comment. This is an unusual way to draw, but it has many unforeseen potential uses!
One form of beauty in this type of art is that your code IS the art. And, the code and art are yours to recreate and modify endlessly as you desire, all without ever having to draw, save/load files, or even touch an image editor.

Another brickswap of Marengi. This one will be programmed into actual marquee displays, some physical and some software-based. If only the glow of the LEDs could be simulated with bricks!

A dot-matrix version of "Official-Ish", and a test of the Filters. :^)
The author recommends using this font at sizes that are multiples of 13, starting with 26, to ensure perfect pixel size/placement. 26, 39, 52, etc. were tested and looked perfect to my eye.
TIP: Size 13 looks like regular "Official-Ish"! You can treat this as two fonts in one for art purposes. This is a clone of Official-Ish
This font is one of several which originates from ASCII art.
How it Works: Chat users send my chatbot (Voluspa) messages to be displayed in-channel, and Voluspa renders their messages in one of several fonts. This one, Voluspa 3, is the default font for display. It uses the block characters ▀, ▄, and █ to render 6 lines of "pixels" within only 3 lines of text - a hybrid of ASCII and pixel art.
The use of only 3 lines helps keep the messages from obscuring too much of the chat, while also preventing the bot from being kicked for flooding.
This font began life as ASCII art, which was itself rendered in monospaced fonts such as Fixedsys, Lucida Console, and Unifont. Now the art is its own font and the font-ASCII art circle is complete! :D
(Voluspa's display fonts are case-insensitive, and always produce uppercase output, no matter what is fed into them.)
This monospaced pixel font is about 75% based on one of the fonts from a commercially available LED sign. The starting design had many of the glyphs presented here, although some of the extended latin characters have been generated to fill out the set. Some of the glyphs are a bit awkward, but that's how it was in the sign. ;)
