Smooooooothy curves

Comment by JingYo Mon, 4th February

Nice, but are you 100% sure about B? Looks like a different colour to me :)

Comment by djnippa Mon, 4th February

@JingYo The feeling when you think the curves are smooth, but when you zoom in, he used the slope bricks...

Comment by Se7enty-Se7en Mon, 4th February

@djnippa It was probably saved as a .jpg file... The B is probably the same color...

Comment by Se7enty-Se7en Mon, 4th February

@Se7enty-Se7en Yes, but it is still very smooth

Comment by JingYo Mon, 4th February

I love the Impact-like feel of the UC! Maybe this is the new Impact? :)

Comment by Cookielord Mon, 4th February

Beautiful! 10/10
* needs some kerning

Comment by FTrex Mon, 4th February

@Se7enty-Se7en. You totally misunderstand. Using the word 'Colour' when referring to fonts is a technical term that means its weight looks slightly bolder/ darker/ lighter/ thicker/ thinner/ off/ different  - when compared to the rest of the font. :)

Comment by djnippa Mon, 4th February

@djnippa 🤣 Yeah... When I saw "color", I thought you were talking about a Hex value that are all bytes to setermine the amount of Red, Green, and Blue mixed together...

Comment by Se7enty-Se7en Mon, 4th February

Thanks dj, I'm d'accord with you. Where you are right, you are right. I changed the color a bit. Oh, and next time I'll try another file format. Promised.

AMAZING

Comment by JOEY_TOYS_ Mon, 4th February

@beate. Spot on with the B now. 10/10

Comment by djnippa Mon, 4th February

This is great; granted, I like the majority of your work—it's quirky. My only pet-peeve is J; I prefer the original design, which descends. I'm not sure who started designing them on the baseline. . . . Anyway, nice font. :)

Comment by TCWhite Tue, 5th February

@TCWhite What do you mean by "My only pet-peeve is J; I prefer the original design, which descends."

Comment by beate Tue, 5th February

I like this design... Reminds me of Impact...

Comment by Se7enty-Se7en Tue, 5th February

Ah, I can see the confusion, lol. I wasn't referring to your original design. I was referring to the fact that I prefer js with descenders, which is the original form of the character when it was first created; i.e., since medieval times. It is an I with a descending tail. Like this: J

Congratulations on the staff pick! :) Sigh, I'm afraid my stuff will never be good enough to be a staff pick :(
